About Us

Our Cards for Kids Foundation was started in February of 2015 by President Joe Hoffman, a retired football coach. Coach H., as he is referred to by all of his close friends and thousands of former players, has been an avid sports card collector since childhood and owns so many sports cards he has been unable to count them all.

Coach H. gave 4 decades of his life to the game of football. First as a player, then as an NFL scout and Director of Scouting, then as a coach on multiple levels including being a college head coach, and then over 25 years of coaching youth sports in football, baseball, basketball and soccer. 

His football career culminated in 2004 when he was inducted into the American Football Association's Hall of Fame. They honored him for his excellence and achievements in all 3 phases of the game by nominating him as an Executive, selecting him as Coach, and inducting him as a Player.

Now Coach H. is dedicating the rest of his life helping hospitalized kids smile and letting them know our Foundation cares.
